About Viskasan

  • Vihar Samaj Kalyan Sansthan (VISKASAN), Ranchi is registered society, founded on the day of Gandhi Jayanti on dt. 2nd October 1983 by dedicated social workers, intellectuals, educationist and medical consultants with a sole objective of sustainable rural development in tribal villages of state Jharkhand. The organization is working for sustained socio- economic status and dignity of rural poor and deprived people in the society particularly among tribal poor with a particular emphasis on women, children and aged who are neglected and distressed. The organization prepares the poor and marginalized people to undertake the responsibilities of socio-economic development by themselves.

    This voluntary, non-profit making, non-political, non-religious organization is established in 1983 and registered under Societies Registration Act. XXI 1860 in 1989 and later registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA)1976 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India in 1994.

     


Establishment of a truth, non-violence and affection based non-atrocity, terror free society, free from caste, religion and political enigma and engaged in community social service for encouraging self sufficiency.
Mission

To prepare the disadvantaged and marginalized people to have opportunities and undertake the responsibilities of socio-economic development by themselves to lead a respected and dignified human life in the society.

  • To ensure necessary arrangements and working opportunities for the most neglected aged in the Old Age Home.
  • To improve the understanding and attitude of the people to love and respect the aged in the family/society.
  • To promote communal harmony among different caste and religious communities in society and stimulate them for their socio-economic development.
  • Optimum utilization and proper management of the local available resources for sustainable rural development in the tribal areas.
  • To combat girl child and women trafficking and sexual abuse from the state Jharkhand.
  • To promote Mother and Child Health Care and community health, hygiene and sanitation in the tribal and rural areas of the state Jharkhand.
